Getting Dirty

Well if you did not know Lindsey and I are avid hikers and like to do fun things like

HIKE IN OUR WEDDING OUTFITS!
(No seriously, well almost we changed when we got to where we were going but we did hike ALL THE WAY DOWN!)


So yesterday Lindsey with the help of our Sherpas:

• Matt Laudone [best man duties continue]
• My Dad [Terry 'the MAN' De Marr]

We climbed up to a little place called Siphon draw and while we did not go all the way to "Flat Iron" I think for those of you who have you would understand it is just too far for us to make a photographer travel (a very fun little hike that climbs about 3000 ft in 2.5 miles we just did the 1.25 miles and 1000 foot climb.
(For bizzaro world I found something like our blog same colors here when looking for a trail head explination)

Here is my stellar wife:

• Notice the feet
• Of course this is the skiing effect on the picture MUCH more steep then it looks
• Side note with my arm, my Dad had to help me move around especially with the awesome traction of those tux shoes which are like ice skates in fact I think the ice skates usually at least have a toe pick but I digress... (Did I mention we thought it was broke? Just a hyper extension...soccer of course)

Of course you lying on a rock in the middle of your spine is less then comfortable and left Lindsey De Marr (yes she got her Social Security Card today!) with "Such a Crick in the Neck!"
Also I think this was a blind shot from Matt as there was not a great place to stand...unless of course this was when he was on Matt's shoulders, the best man Matt. This was a Matt on Matt type of effect that I really wanted a camera in my hand to pic the picture taker :)

I just loved the moisture and the pond the broken rocks the vertical lines of the rocks
